Rostec, Siemens to invest 4 bln rbl in diagnostic laboratories
MOSCOW, Jan 11 (PRIME) -- State industrial corporation Rostec and Germany’s Siemens plan to invest 4 billion rubles in diagnostic laboratories for various surveys, including biological research, in 10 Russia’s regions, a Rostec representative told PRIME on Thursday.
Under the agreement, Siemens will supply equipment for the laboratories.
Siemens may localize medical equipment production on the basis of Rostec’s facilities in Russia in 2018-2020, the representative also said.
Russia’s government has been implementing an import substitution program for medical products and equipment since February 5, 2015.
